Voki and Blabberize Presentations

Check out my Voki and Blabberize avatars on this blog. For the Voki avatar, I imagined myself back in physics class...I was sure my physics teacher was an alien... Maybe the students could learn better from an alien! The alien just happened to find his information from Wikipedia. My students are constantly frustrated when working physics problems, so to poke a little fun at them and to help them at the same time, The old man laments not following Mr. Goodman's strategy for working physics problems.

Podcasts For Physics

Electronic version of Feynman's Lectures

This pod cast is an introduction to the electronic version of Feynman's lectures. Some of the information will be too complex for High School students, but I'm sure they will find it interesting. The podcast itself is merely an introduction so it may not be helpful within the classroom.

Lecture on transverse waves
One of a set of excellent podcast lectures on transverse waves. This will be good for students who miss class or need extra instruction.

MIT opencourseware introduction to classical mechanics
The introduction of a set of podcast lectures on calculus based physics. This will very helpful for students who want to delve further into physics. It might also be helpful for the teacher as it is a good review. I also downloaded a few more simply because they were so good!
